Journey with us…
“If you can walk you can snowshoe!”
Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to explore the mountains and high valleys in winter. When there is snow on the ground it transforms the landscape and is a very special time in the mountain calendar. We have a unique opportunity especially after heavy snow falls to observe where the large mammals such as Chamois and wild boar have moved through the landscape in search of food and shelter. What could be nicer than to be the first person to walk through an untouched snowy landscape surrounded by silence!
There are many accessible walks in this region which can be reached by car or the system of telecabines.
We offer full day, half day and shorter walks to a variety of locations for all abilities, fitness levels and experience.
For the more adventurous we can stay overnight in an “open” hut giving us shelter from the elements and a place to sleep and little more!
But why wait? We are not restricted by the snow………if the season starts late we can leave the snowshoes at home and still walk and enjoy the invigorating mountain air and the beautiful scenery. The scale of adventure is only limited by our imaginations.
